The ecosystem is a life support system of human, human well-being and ecosystem service provided are inseparable. This thesis focuses on the shortage of the valuation of ecosystem service, such as the difficult of data acquisition, the low of assess efficiency, the lack of the spatial dimension expression of assessment results, to some extent, these problems cover up the inherent spatial heterogeneity of ecosystem services, and that is difficult to provide support for regional environmental management. This paper establishs a technical framework and spatial expression method of GIS-based assessment of ecosystem service value in Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, which assessing and analysising ecosystem service value of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in2005-2010. The main results are as follows:(1) Each ecosystem value of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone is showed a upward trend in2005-2010; the proportion of total value and the proportion of total value of the unit area are quite different between each study areas of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, not showing one to one relationship. The areas of higher total value of ecosystem services are clearly concentrated in where more arable land resources and woodland resources, economy more developed, tourism resources rich, and vegetation coverage higher in Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.(2) Agricultural products and forest products provide service value are showed a highly significant negative correlation with soil conservation, gas regulation, and environmental cleanup in1%level, and a significant negative correlation with hydrological regulation service value in5%level, and a very significant positive correlation with fresh water provide, recreation culture and total value in1%level; Freshwater provide is showed a highly significant positive correlation with hydrological regulation, soil conservation and environmental cleanup in1%level, significant positive correlation with recreation culture and gas regulator in5%level; recreation culture is showed very significant positive correlation with environmental cleanup and total value in1%level; The various indirect use values of hydrological regulation, soil conservation, gas regulation and environmental cleanup are showed significant positive correlation two between two; gas regulation, environmental cleanup are showed highly significant positive correlation with total value in1%level.(3) This article changes the traditional assessment model of ecosystem service value, uses the advantages of efficient management and analysis of GIS spatial data, at the same time, aim at the requirements of software operation simplification and fund saving of system development for ecological environment management, constructs Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone of ecosystem services valuation system in using C#language and ArcGIS Engine components in the Visual Studio2008.NET platform. The system interface is friendly, easy to operate, achieving the basic functions and scalability of GIS.
