Eco-environmental vulnerability has become a hot issue in the RegionalEnvironmental Change and Sustainable Development. The vulnerability assessmentof the ecological environment is an important part of ecological studies, which is thedeepening of the evolution of large-scale ecological environment research. In thecontext of the country vigorously promote national maritime strategy, the transitionalzone set off a new round of development and construction boom, human activity issignificantly enhanced, the region is also suffered an unprecedented ecologicalpressure, of which is there degradation and deterioration of eco-environment.Thismoment, it is particularly important to evaluate eco-environmental vulnerability forregional development and eco-environment construction andprotection.while thetransitional zone of Environmental Change and management, efficient use of land, therational allocation of resources and sustainable social and economic development hasan important guidance and reference value.Based on the conceptual framework of ecological sensitivity-resilience-pressure,in this paper, topography factors, geological factors, surface factors, climatic factors, disaster factors, landscape disturbance index and soil erosion sensitivity index areused to estimate the eco-environmental vulnerability of the study area ecologicallysensitive indicators. The resilience indicator was characterized by the net primaryproductivity (NPP) of vegetation, and the pressure indicators comprise humanactivities and economic activities. Because of the correlations among differentindicators, it was necessary to remove the correlations by means of the principalcomponent analysis (PCA). On this basis, building integrated ecological environmentvulnerability space principal component evaluation model to estimate eco-environm-ental vulnerability of the study area. The study results showed that:Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Landscape interference index is forest land, unusedland and native vegetation disturbance index greater visible in the study area, forestland, unused land, grassland by a higher degree of interference. Beibu Gulf EconomicZone in the highly sensitive area of soil erosion is mainly distributed in the higherelevations, steep mountains and karst mountain areas; low sensitivity areas are mainly distributed in relatively flat terrain, slope smaller rivers, coastal plains and otherplaces.Better that micro-level ecological fragile areas mainly in the northern GulfEconomic Zone in Guangxi Great Mountain, Damingshan with Xidamingshanbroadleaf forest, coniferous broad-leaved forest area and coniferous forests, and sixDarongshan Wan mountains coniferous broad-leaved forest zone, coniferous forest.Vegetation in these areas is good, human activity intensity, ecosystem stability andresilience are good. Extremely fragile ecological zones mainly economic zones sixprefecture-level cities, the county and its peripheral region, the Beibu Gulf coast inthe north, northwest karst area and other areas, economic development in these areas, human activities or natural ecosystems itself in a fragile habitat, the ecological systeminstability, weak anti-interference ability, ecological resilience is low, the pressureincreases in the ecological easily destroyed.Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone ecological vulnerability exists obviousspatial concentration, high ecological fragility-high spatial agglomeration areasaround the city, mainly in and around the study area, north, northeast, northwest andcoastal karst area zone near the town; ecological fragility low-low correlationdistribution areas of high mountain vegetation in the main study area are basically thesame good distribution. Finally, based on the vulnerability of the main driving factor for the ecologicalenvironment of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi proposed the developmentof ecological restoration and protection measures.
