The transition metal coordination compound more and more important, due to their virious structure and extensive uses. And the compounds have awide rang uses in the field of catalysis, bioactivity and material etc. The efforton this filed give us special function of metal coordination compound andspecial properties. In this paper, different ligands and complexes which baseon1,4,7-triazacyclononane were designed and synthesized. The main work is as follow:1. Derivatives from TACN were prepared by reacting with2-chloro-methyl-benzimdazole, obtain a single cantilever TACN of ironcomplexes; at the same time, Derivatives from TACN were prepared byreacting with2-chloro-methylbenzimdazole two mixed cantilevers wassynthesized, obtain two metal complexes with mixed cantilever; Thederivatives from TACN with a acrylamide cantilever and two ethyl alcoholcantilevers was synthesized, obtain copper complexes with mixed cantilever. Those metal complexes were characterized by IR and X-ray, SOD activityand the cleavage of DNA was studied.2. A new ligand derivatives from TACN:1,4-bis[(1,4-bis(carboxymeth-yl)-1,4,7-triazacyclono)-methyl benzene was synthesized, and a novel sixnuclear nickel of this ligand was synthesizedand and structure characterized.
