In recent decades, with the rapid development of science and technology, people’s Increasingrequirements on the properties of materials which can be long term stable operation under thehigh temperature,high speed,highly automated and poor working conditions,especially thesurface properties such as the abrasion,corrosion resistance,heatresistance,strengthand hardness,which has made the technology and means of surface modification on traditional material una-ble to meet the needs.At the same time,people also hope that by modifying the material sur-face o achieve the purpose of ordinary material instead of expensive material. In this case,thispaper adopts the emerging laser cladding technology to deal with roll, roller press and the steelwith demanding surface property.The paper is mainly by laser cladding,coating alloy powder on the surfaces of high–chrom-ium cast iron roll, roller press and the steel and comparing the surface property of the coating tofind the best parameters to improve it through different parameters.To high-chromium cast ironroll, we adopt different scanning speeds to have studied the influence on the rates towards tiss-ue property of the coating, respectively are3.3mm/s,2.5mm/s,1.6mm/s.To roller press we sepa-rately adopts he laser power1500W, single channel lap;1500W,double channel lap;2000W,s-ingle channel lap for three groups of samples to have studied the influence of the power and lapmount on the coating surface property.And to the steel we adopt laser cladding on three kindsof steel718H,H13and NAK80to have studied the surface property of coating. During the proc-ess of study,we utilze metallographical and scanning electron microscope to analyze the tissueof the coating,micro hardness testing insrtument to test the hardness of material, then analyzethe abrasion.Through the above experimental research, for high-chromium cast iron roll, its property isthe best when the scanning rate is2.5mm/s and there is no obvious flaws; to the roller presswhen using the powder NiCr+Cr3C2can obviously improve its surface property, and when thescanning rate is2000W,the flaws in coating increases; as for the steel718H,H13and NAK80,we separately use CoMoCr powder, NiCrBSi+tungsten carbide powder and nickel-based alloypowder+tungsten carbide powder, these powders help to improve its surface property.
