Pyrethroid pesticide is a kind of new broad spectrum pesticides after the rise of theorganic chlorine organophosphate and carbamate pesticide. Since it has characteristic of highefficiency, low residue and easily degraded, it is widely used in control of agricultural pestsand health pest, food storage, and so on. It’s extensive use and accumulation leads to a varietyof environmental pollution, as well as all kinds of food security, and brings great threat tothe health of people. The study is to make survey and eveluation on the residual status of the seven kinds ofpyrethyoid pesticides (Bifenthrin、Fenpropathrin、Cyfluthrin、Cyhalothrin、Cypermethrin、Deltamethrin and Fenvalerate), which exist in the five kinds of vegetables(chinese cabbagevegetables、Brassica vegetables、Leafy green、Gourd vegetable and Solanaceous fruitsvegetables). These vegetables are sampled from producing areas、traditional agri-productmarkets and supermarkets in Zibo from2008to2011.The results showed that: It appeared only two cases that exceed the standard of allvegetable samples in Zibo. It illustrated that pyrethroid pesticide residues is overall in the lowcontent. The pollution was not serious. However, a variety of pyrethroid pesticides wereused more and more widely. Pyrethroid pesticide residue changed with season obviously, higher detection rate in spring and summer, and lower detection rate in autumn and winter. The sequence of seven kinds of pyrethroid pesticide residues in vegetables was:Cypermethrin>Cyhalothrin> Cyfluthrin>Fenvalerate> Fenpropathrin> Bifenthrin>Deltamethrin.Overall, residue in Chinese cabbage and green leafy vegetables was in thehighest content while residue in Brassica vegetables and Gourd vegetables was in the lowestcontent. Experimental results of different sampling sites showed that vegetable pesticideresidue detection rate and exceeding standard rate of supermarkets and vegetable productionbase was low, agriproduct markets high.
