Amino-silicone oil is a new type of organic silicon material and has been wildly used inmany fields of textile, coating, daily chemicals for its excellent non-toxic odorless, heatresistant, softness, lubricity and hydrophobic. It’s especially used as textile finishing. It canmake the fabric soft, smooth and full handle, and washable advantages, called as “supersoftening agent”. Poor hydrophilic property causes product not easy to emulsify. The finishedfabric by it has poor moisture absorption, weak anti-static performance, and worn by the hot.Currently, the main solution method is the polyether modified. Pt and Rh catalyst is usedhydrosilylation reaction, then react with organic amine. Catalyst is expensive and not easyseparation recycling.This thesis aims to synthesis a kind of polyether modified amino-silicone oil. First, silanecoupling agent with polyether and amino double functional groups was synthesized byalkylation reaction without catalyst. Then silane coupling agent reacted with cyclosiloxane byring opening copolymerization. To keeping the facbric soft, smooth excellent performanceand improve poor moisture absorption and weak anti-static performance. At the same time,the reaction cost is reduced. Thus the main work as following:Amino silane coupling agent (A silane coupling agent) with polyether chain wassynthesized with N-β-aminoethyl-γ-aminoproylmethyldimethoxysilane (D602) andlow-poly(ethylene glycol) glycidyl ether (X09). The influence factors were discussed, such asthe reaction temperature, reaction time, reaction solvent, raw material pretreatment. Theoptimal reaction conditions: the reaction temperature is50℃, the reaction time is5h, themolar ratio of D602and X09is1:1, isopropanol as solvent, the conversion of X09is90%.The structure of A silane coupling agent is characterized by IR and1H-NMR.The goal product polyether modified amino-silicone oil with different polymerizationdegrees and different amine values was synthesized with A silane coupling agent andoctamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) by bulk copolymerization with KOH as catalyst. Theamount catalyst, e reaction temperature, reaction time, and molar ratio of reactants werediscussed. The optimal reaction conditions as following: the amount of KOH is the the totalweight of D4and silane coupling agent A of0.3%, the reaction temperature is80-100℃, the reaction time is5h. When the amount of silane coupling agent A is the weight of D4of20%,the amine value is0.45mmol/g, the viscosity is600mpa·s. It was applied to fabric finishingperformance test. The results show that polyether modifying could apparently improve thehydrophylicity, the softness is the same as unmodified amino-silicone oil, but the whiteness isdown.The reaction mechanism of D4and A silane coupling agent was analyzed. The resultsindicate that A silane coupling agent exist hydrolysis and condensation polymerization twosteps. The condensation polymerization reaction produce methanol molecule and watermolecule which have the termination and sealing role for the growth of polymer chain. Allthese results may have certain reference significance for further study of the reactionmechanism and control product structure.
