In addition, the common wood-based panel adhesive of its own on the market exist many shortcomings, such as urea-formaldehyde resin is hard and brittle, high formaldehyde, and phenolic resin’s high cost, high hot pressing temperature, although many scholars do a large number of relevant aspects of research, This article will study how to improve the own shortcomings of adhesives, reduce production costs as much as possibleThe Paper is divided into following parts:The first partr describes the origin and the physical and chemical properties of humic acid in detail. It is described comparative analysis of the humic acids by different preparation methods, based panel adhesive for the current construction problems, and has been focused on humic acid as a building wood-based panel adhesive feasibility study. Different methods were used to extract humic acid in the young and lignite of Inner Mongolia in order to explore a best process. Preparation of humic acid detect by a series of characterization methods (eg:’H-NMR; infrared spectroscopy FIIR; thermal analysis TG, etc.). The results shows that the humic acid in the methoxy, hydroxy and ether other groups containing more oxygen atoms, N elements contained in humic acid may be the protein in plant tissues. Moreover, humic acid was modified by hydroxymethylation, phenol modification, respectively. The products were detected by FUR,’H-NMR and TG. It is confirmed that the modification of humic acid chemical is effective.Humic acid with hydroxymethyl was used to modify urea-formaldehyde resin to preparehumic-urea formaldehyde resin which physical and chemical properties and structure of the test was characterized. The results show that the humic acid-urea formaldehyde resin with the conventional similar structure compared to urea-formaldehyde resin. However, modification add to the crosslinking system more rigid aromatic ortho-chain, and increase heat resistance and mechanical strength.Humic acid replace part of phenol in order to synthetic humic acid-phenol formaldehyde resin, the thermal cure kinetics analysis of humic acid-phenolic resin, which has a different content of phenol, was adopted. For example,33%of the humic acid phenolic resin, the apparent activation energy E=232.34KJ/mol, reaction order n=1.08, exponent gene A=3.775; thermodynamic equation:k=3.775e-232.34/Rr, were obtained.In this research, the cost of adhesive was decreased due to replace some part of row materials by humic acid in resin synthesis processes.
