Ecological system is the earth’s life support system and it is the base of human survival and development. In the ecological processes of energy flow and material flow, ecological system shows an important role to external, such as providing ecological products and services, improving environmental quality and so on.Quantitative ecosystem service function can reflect the utility and economic value of ecosystem objectively. Different area provides different ecological service function.Evaluation a given area’s ecological service function can better understand the local ecosystem service function and its economic value.In this paper, we choose the Lashihai nature reserve (Lijiang, Yunnan province) as the study area. According to the characteristics and the requirement of evaluation of the study area, we decide to put the soil retention service function, comprehensive service functions basis for NPP and winter migrating birds habitat quality of Lashihai nature reserve2010as the evaluation contents.In this research, using RUSLE, CAS A, HSI models respectively based on given mechanism, we build the evaluation index system and assess the ecosystem service combining quantity and economic value.The result shows that ecosystem service functions of study area is in good condition. In the soil retention service function, unit area of soil conservation is95.17t/hm2,24,94,942.46t in total; the monetary value is9,527,336.52yuan. Soil erosion intensity which belongs to strength to severe is6.52%and weak to moderate is22.56%of study area. Most of the area which account for70.92%doesn’t occur soil erosion. In study area, vegetation is very intensive; NPP of2010can reach to2259.97gC/m2; and organic material production service、fixing carbon and releasing oxygen regulation service and nutrition matter accumulation in the aggregate is1,202,606,549.41yuan. Habitat quality evaluation result shows that birds’ habitat is in good quality. Birds feeding, disguised, human disturbing, water are key factors and topography is less effect factor to habitat quality. Bird’s core habitat area which distributes in reservoir area is24.58%and it is protected by local government.The potential habitat area is about14.32%. Ecosystem service function and elevation has a trend, as well slope in spatial distribution.Through evaluation ecosystem service function quantitatively in Lashihai nature reserve, on the one hand, we verify the feasibility of the evaluation method; on the other, we learn the ecosystem service function and its value of study area. It is critical for local environmental assessment, ecological function division and so on. The evaluation results can provide the scientific basis and technical support for local government.
