Present Situation Investigation And Countermeasure Research On Drinking Water Sources In The Main Townships Of Rongxian, Guangxi

In order to fully ascertain the environmental infrastructure situation of drinking water sources in Guangxi townships, establish and improve the basic information of centralized drinking water sources, construct the security system of centralized drinking water sources in Guangxi townships, fomulate the scientific and effective pollution control program of drinking water sources, and put forward the feasible environmental management countermeasures of drinking water sources.The investigation on pollution sources in drinking water areas and the water quality monitoring on drinking water sources were carried out in Rongxian main townships in November,2011, combined with development plan of Guangxi and Rongxian, to analyze the natural environment and socio-economic situation, water sources base situation, water supply and drainage situation, pollution sources in water sources and water quality situation, and put forward water source protection regulatory measures to solve the main problems. The main results are as follows:The water sources in Rongxian townships are river water sources and reservoir water sources. The water source of Siluo River in Luojiang town, the water source of Liugui in Lingshan town, the water source of Yangmei River in Yangmei town and the water source of Dashengdu in Liccun town are river water sources. The water source of Guwang reservoir in Ziliang town, the water source of Kangtang reservoir in Xiandi town, the water source of Guihe reservoir in Rongxi rural and the water source of Pingli reservoir in Shizhai town are reservoir water sources.The water supply and drainage situatin in Rongxian townships:there are basic water conservancy facilities in Rongxian townships, but the water supply and drainage system is imperfect, and the waterworks lock of water supply capacity in some townships. There is still a water shortage phenomenon in Lingshan, Yangmei, Xiandi, and so on.The situation of pollution sources in drinking water areas in Rongxian townsips:the main pollution sources are Non-point source pollutions by the analysis results, and99.22%of the total emissions are waste water emissions, including rural life pollution, distributed livestock pollution, agricultural runoff pollution and forestry non-point source pollution. The water sources of Siluo River in Luojiang and Yangmei River in Yangmei are the most contaminated areas, accounting for44.41%and28.57%of waste water total emissions respectively.The water quality assessment results of drinking water areas in Rongxian townsips:carry on the water quality monitoring in the intake of water, on pH, dissolved oxygen, permanganate index, ammonia nitrogen, coliform bacteria, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, etc. We found that, the water quality of drinking water sources reaches Class Ⅲ standards in "The Surface Water Environmental Quality Standards"(GB3838-2002) and standards tatally.However, there are security risks of polluting drinking water quality, because of the imperfect health management in some water supply points.Several monitoring and management measures of drinking water source conservation in Guangxi townships are put forward directed to the above problems, including pollution source control project, soil and water conservation project, isolation and protection project, strengthen water quality and water sources monitoring, establish water quality warning mechanisms and management systems, to provide a scientific basis for the government to implement the security strategy decisions of township centralized drinking water.
