Gold nanorods(Au-NRs) can be functionalized by coated with multiple molecules on its surface, with this method, it could target the tumors and cure cancer by its photothermal effect in human. At present, it is such a focus that being under research in worldwide.In this paper, antibody against melanoma is prepared. In addition, Au-NRs is prepared which is at the size of length40nm, diameter20nm aspect ratio at2-3, near infrared ray (NIR) absorption peak at758nm. Additionally, modified by3.3’2-ethyl-S of aldehyde3carbocyanine iodine (DTTC) and melanoma antibody on its surface, Au-NRs-biotargeted conjugation is prepared. Its properties are discussed by characterization and experiments. The results of toxicity analysis in cell demonstrate that its security reach the standard. Its surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) gains obvious signals in cell environment. Irradiated by50mW/70mW wavelength of808nm NIR Laser for5minutes, its viability is demonstrated with Typan Blue method that a great quantity of melanoma cells dead which are injected the conjugations, while non-injected cells are in minor injured.
