polypyrrole@copper oxide nanotubes (PPy@CuO-NTs) as a newhigh-performance composite material were prepared by in situ chemical oxidationpolymerization of pyrrole on the surface of CuO nanotubes and Covert thePPy@CuO-NTs into C-NTs@CuO,PPy nanotubes and carbon nanotubes.Transmission electron microscope (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD)confirmed the formation of the PPy@CuO-NTs, C-NTs@CuO, C-NTs and PPynanotubes.The main content contain three sections:1. Copper nanowires synthesized via hydrothermal method,and were used as startingsolid template for fabrication of polycrystalline oxide nanotubes. Uniform CuOnanotubes were obtained via direct oxide copper nanowires in air400℃for5h.PPy@CuO-NTs were prepared by in situ chemical oxidation polymerization ofpyrrole on the surface of CuO by using L-Lysine as modified surfactants andAmmonium persulphate(APS)as oxidant. The morphology and structure of thecomposite were characterized by SEM, TEM, FTIR, XRD and thermal gravimetricanalysis (TGA). the catalytic degradation of Rhodamine B under the condition ofultrasound were researched. The result of UV-vis spectroscopy demonstrated thematerial showed efficiently degraded RhodamineB.Through the cyclicvoltammograms,get the specific capacitance was29.2F/g.2. PPy@CuO-NTs composites were converted to hollow PPy nanotubes by soakingcomposite in an aqueous solution of1mol/mL HCl for48h. The cyclicvoltammograms show the specific capacitance was100F/g.3. The PPy@CuO-NTs were covert into C-NTs@CuO by carbonization of the PPyunder vacuum condition. Its eletro-catalysis was investigated. The result of cyclicvoltammograms and electrocatalysis of glucose demonstrated the material showedgood electrochemical catalysis performance compared with the bare Cu electrode.4. Carbon nanotubes were get by soaking C-NTs@CuO in an aqueous solution of1mol/mL HCl for48h.
