China is one of the world’s countries which have the worst landslide disasters. Each year due to landslides causes economic losses of200billion yuan. The people and the country’s life and property have been caused heavy losses. JijiPing and Tianjia Village ore block in Baima mining, where have proven geological reserves of vanadium-titanium magnetite to870million tons, recoverable reserves to610million tons.It is China’s largest reserves of mines to be built, and the largest scale mines. The development and construction of Baima iron ore has important practical significance for China’s steel industry to sustainable develop, while the City of Panzhihua, Miyi County economic development will play a huge role.In this paper, JijiPing stope1#crushing plant in Panzhihua Baima Iron after the edge of the slope is the research object. According to the slope of the natural geological environment conditions, the study of the basic deformation characteristics, analyzes the deformation and failure mechanisms of the slope. on this basis the limit equilibrium combined with geological analysis, comprehensive evaluated slope stability slope status and development trends. And on this basis, suggestion control measures have been proposed in this paper. This paper is to provide experience and reference for the rectification of such geological disasters in mining, but also for the Panzhihua region disaster prevention and control research projects.
