Laizhou-Anqiu area is an important iron ore producing areas in Shandong. The ironhave been discovered more than a decade and many have been explored. Joints of manydeposits is fractured, roof and compare ore is crushing.The iron is unstable and hard rockore mining body.There is offen roof collapse or side-fall.Personnel and equipment whenoperating under the exposed surface is difficult to guarantee safety.It is a serious impacton the region’s iron ore development. Ludi Iron is a typical of hard and unstable rockwhich is a good representation in the vicinity of the mine.Stope instability mechanism is revealed based on the scene, rock mechanics testindoor and numerical simulation technology.It proposed three control schemes: advancesupport to protect the roof, light burst shallow rock tunneling to protect the roadway andfiber reinforced is used to concrete support. It proposed two coordinated schemes.Theone is “downward two-step drift stoping with upward backfill” for unstable broken, theother is “upward drift backfill mining with roof unconnected”for the relatively goodlocation. It is validated by numerical calculation reliability. It improves the recovery rateby caving zone perfusion Malisan and bolt advance support.The field of industrial tests showed: it can effectively control the unstable orethrough improving.Approach can be effectively controlled in the unstable mine rock. Itcan avoid the face roof fall occurred effectively, so that the security was increasedsubstantially in the stope. The new mining plan simplifies recovery processes, reduces thenumber of top pick to improve the ability of the mine and ore stope recovery rate. It hasuniversal Demonstration significance for mining recovery in broken loose bodies.Theoretical and practical basis are provided for safe and efficient production. Problems ofstability control in Ludi Iron is settled. It alsoprovides technical support for Mines in theregion.
