In many lagre sewage treatment plants, technological processes arecomplex which involving many facilities. It is firstly necessary to debugand analyze in record continuely in order to make the effluent meet thedischarge standard. After this, the next work is to modifidy according tothe dificient in process. Therefore processes of debugging andenginreering reform are in a very important place of wastewatertreatment. The paper was studied on the phaseⅡproject of Shaoxing WastewaterTreatment, including the operation debugging and modification research. In this paper, it was introduced the preparation before the debugging andproess during the debugging to treat three groups of biochemcial syetemsin different methods, respectively testing the maxium removal rate, thecapacity of maxium removal and operation standard. Besides, taking themodification of process in the base of the lack of design is to make theeffluent meet the discharge standard.During the debugging and modification which lasted one and halfyear, the achievements wo got were improving capacity of treatingwastewater from30×104m3/d to40×104m3/d and the cost decreased 0.15yuan/t. It was better than the process before dedugging andmodification in engineering investment and work cost. The Plant took theprocess of combining physicochemical and biochemical technology intreating the mixed wastewater which mainly were printing and dyeingwastewater. It was performed the advantages of strong pertinence, advanced technology, low cost, easy manage and the high removalefficient. The success in debugging and modification processed has asignicification in the field of wastewater treatment.
