Studies On Planning And Designing Of Chongmin Dongtan Wetland Park Based On Wetland Functions

The paper summarized the function of the wetland park, discusses thetypical characteristics of bayou wetland park in eastern beach of ShanghaiChongming (WPEBSC) basing on researching different views, concepts,development lessons from international wetland to China.The paper analyses the condition such as the base soil, water quality,climate etc., by ecological rules, in accordance with the factors such asnatural, social and economic condition, function and orientation etc.,combining the layout of Shanghai Chongming Dongtan Wetland Park; Thepaper also summarizes the function and partition of important function ofWPEBSC, discussing the rules and methods of plant community composing,infrastructure construction of WPEBSC. By renovating the injured ecologicalsystem in good time, protecting the fine ecological system, establishing thelife ecosystem suitable for animal and plant surviving, so that the originaland natural ecosystem could exist together with the artifical ecosystemharmoniously, and the best ecological function and maximal social benefitof the wetland park could be developed. And the lessons and experiencescould be used for reference by third term construction of wetland in futureand provide the consultation for other wetland park protection, plan anddesign, development feasibility etc.
