Straightening, as the last and production process of H-beam straightening,play adecisive role on the residual stress of H-beam products’ size.This paper mainly study onthe formation mechanism and the law of residual stress in large H-beam’s straighteningprocess. Explore the problem of Mises-stress in the straightening process and theresidual stress after straightening at the same time meet the curvature requirements.Combined with H-beam’s Research status both at home and abroad, in this paperAsked the ideas of large H-beam straightening deformation mechanism, residual stressand finite element simulation application and other aspects,expansion further study onlarge H steel straightening simulation technology. To seek for the accurate straighteningtheory on such wide-flange thin-walled structures in the large H-beam.This topic based on the finite element theory of elastic-plastic deformation,established a large H-Beam straightening by finite element model. Describes thevariational rule of the Mises stress distribution during the straightening process of seventriangular deformation Zone. Analyzed straightening and deformation law of H-beamusing ABAQUS finite software.Simulation results indicate that the variational rule of the Mises stress distributionduring the straightening process of seven triangular deformation Zone was similar tostress distribution.Obtained the major influence factor of residual stress and curvature throughorthogonal tests with four factor three level. On the premise that guaranteed residualstress min after straightening and curvature can be satisfactory, obtained the optimalprogram of improving the large H-beam quality. Analysis shows that the new rules arebetter than the old.Analyze the similarities and differences in the leveling roll set of varied rollerdistance and double crisscross straightening roll system. In the same straighteningprocedures,double crisscross straightening roll system than varied roller-distancestraightening roll system had more advantages. Used double crisscross straightening rollsystem,can get better straightening effect.
