The wire rope micromagnetic detection technology, is used the presence of themagnetic field strength of itself to detect for leakage magnetic field of wire rope defectsand to determine the defect type and degree of injury, which is characterized by fastdetection,device lightweight and easy to operate, high detection accuracy and onlinemonitoring. This paper will use the numerical simulation and experimental analysis formicromagnetic detection of wire rope defects, to give the distribution of the leakagemagnetic field and the type of defect and quantitative analysis of the degree of damagefor wire rope defects, and then to verify the feasibility of the wire rope micromagneticdetection technology.First, to elaborate the micromagnetic detection theory, includes the generationmechanism of the micromagnetic, the theory of the residual magnetic field and the earthmagnetic filed, the detection mechanism of the micromagnetic, analysises of therelationship between the the micro magnetic detector, the residual magnetic field and theearth magnetic field, provides a theoretical basis for the micromagnetic detection.Second, using ANSYS finite element analysis software for numerical simulation ofthe three states in the residual magnetic field, the geomagnetic field as well as theintegration of the two magnetic fields of the wire rope, and on comparative analysis ofdifferent magnetic state wire rope itself and the surrounding air leakage magnetic fielddistribution law.Again, do a large number of experiment for Wire Ropes defects research, the first ofexperimental analysis for the new wire rope, the presence of artifacts wire rope and thehall wire rope, analysis of the detection signal, to verify the feasibility of micro-magneticdetection of the rope detect analysis; thenanalysis the wire ropes signal, give the brokenwire width, the number of broken wires and broken wires location of the wire Ropesdefects investigated.Finally, the rope metal sectional area loss defects of experimental research, analysisrope metal sectional area loss defects of a detection signal obtained rope metal sectional area loss defects of the fitting curve fitting equation, to provide experimental for thefurther study of the cross-sectional area loss of the rope metal basis. The results of thisresearch for the development and design of the wire rope micromagnetic testinginstruments provide a scientific basis.
