As a new type of sewage treatment, constructed wetland is the most suitable processfor treating rural wastewater and sewage from small towns, for its wide range ofapplications, as well as the fact that its construction can be miniaturized and diversified.But constructed wetlands is prone to clogging, which seriously limits the application andpromotion of wetlands. Domestic and foreign scholars have carried out a lot of researchabout the problems of clogging. Currently, there is no better way for avoiding cloggingexcept replacing the substrate, which takes a lot of work and high investment.In view of the problem of clogging, this paper focused on the essence of the cloggingof wetlands-the reducing of the effective pore of the substrate, and carried out researchabout preventing clogging. Based on the research results of the domestic and foreignscholars, following work was carried out:Built constructed wetland model to study the effects of aeration on the clogging; Change ofthe permeability coefficient of the wetland with time, HRT before and after clogging, andconcentration of suspended particle and distribution of the particle size after clogging of wetlandwas studied.Used the mathematical model to analysis the effect of aeration on the clogging.This paper can get following conclusions through the above research:1.Front-Aeration can dramatically postpone the clogging of the advanced treatmentfor constructed wetlands, and the operation time can be as2.3times as much that of thetraditional constructed wetlands.2.Front-Aeration can properly postpone the clogging of the original wastewatertreatment for constructed wetlands, and the working time can be as1.2times as much thatof the traditional constructed wetlands.3.The most serious clogging region of the wetlands is on the surface layer0-10cm,and the middle and the bottom layer are far from clogging; the relationship betweenosmotic coefficient and depth of the stomata is positive correlation.4.The suspended substances which cause the clogging for the wetlands are mainlyinorganic and inorganic content of can be as2times or so as much that of organic matter.;the relationship between the organic content and the depth is also negative correlation;...
