With the rising quality of modern life, people have higher requirements forwearing comfort, so the fabric has a waterproof performance with the practicalapplication of such importance. Although traditional type of waterproof fabricfinishing agents can give good water resistance, but can be difficult to make both well,or a serious impact on the fabric handle and wearing comfort. Traditional finishingwaterproof fabric finishing agents, usually requires a lot of softener to improve thefeel, or other poor performance due to water plus additives required to be improved.And because the fluorine atom with its low surface tension and strongelectro-negativity of fluorine-containing monomer long chain fluoroalkyl uniquestructure, the fluorine-containing polymer has a low surface energy, giving a goodfabric and leather water and oil properties, the organic fluorine-based waterprooffinishing agent generally become the main trend in the field.In this study,the organic fluorine waterproof finishing agent of synthesis, its activeingredients as fluorinated acrylate polymer, the main raw material for experimentswere dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate(G04), hexafluorobutyl acrylat(G01),hexafluorobutyl mathacrylate(G02), butyl acrylate(BA), methyl methacrylate(MMA)and hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA). Emulsifier used Cetyl trimethyl ammoniumbromide(C16TAB), nonylphenol ethoxylates(NP-40), sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate(SDBS), perfluoroalkyl ether alcohol ethoxylated non-ionic fluorinatedsurfactant(FS-200), sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS), fatty alcohol ethoxylates(AEO-9),etc. Initiator used azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN), potassium persulfate(KPS),ammonium persulfate(APS) and so on.The variety of test and analysis results showed that the G04as organic fluorinemonomer, the amount of the total single-weight40%, BA and MMA ratio of3:2, thewaterproof effect and the washing effect is fine, over selected initiator APS, amountof weight on a single5%NP-40, emulsifier SDBS with a3:2compound, the reactionrate and high conversion rate while the rate control gel; polymerization temperature of75℃, the total reaction time of4.5h the reaction completely conversion rate andproduct quality is guaranteed, HEMA amount of2%body weight on a single in the water, while ensuring water vapor permeability of the finished fabric.In the application, on the synthesis of organic fluorine waterproof finishing agentdosage, soaking time, baking temperature, baking time and other factors werediscussed. The results show that using2dip and2roll(fluorine-containing acrylicemulsion60g/l, soaking time7min, rolling over rate75%)â†'pre-drying (100℃,2min)â†'baking (150℃,3min) was the best finishing process of the Organic FluorineWaterproof Finishing Agent.In addition the use of infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy,wetting contact angle, particle size, static pressure method, spray test method andother methods of finishing agents and characterization of the effects after finishing,waterproof level up to4~5, wetting contact angle138°, water vapor permeabilityremained at2450~2500g/(m2·24h); hydrostatic pressure up to2640Pa about; emulsionparticle diameter less than90%of0.30μm,50%of the particle size diameter of lessthan0.15μm.
