With the rapid development of Chinese economy in2011, China has become the world’s largest energy consumer and power-producing countries. Currently there are very limited natural energy resources in China. According to the statistics of2011, Chinese discovery of coal and oil resources accounted for13.9%and1.1%of the world, respectively. With the increasingly demands for energy resources, Chinese goverment has worked out low energy consumption, low emission, low-carbon economic development model. Building energy efficiency is an important part of low-carbon economy of industrial development, and building energy consumption accounted for32%of the whole country’s energy consumption. More than half part of building energy consumption comes from building windows and doors. It accounts for3-5times that the building envelope heat dissipation for the developed countries. Therefore it’s improving the insulation of windows and doors in an effective way to reduce building energy consumption. Nowadays building insulation glass have hollow glass, vacuum glass, Low-E glass, solar control glass, foil glass, but due to expensive glass prices,complex process, so it’s difficult to become scale applications. Nano ATO is a common semiconductor material, which has good light transmittance and infrared barrier. The transparent insulating coating was prepared by adding Nano ATO as a functional powder to the waterborne PU.This thesis which I studied was about the stability of the nano-ATO slurry, which mainly was studied on the dispersion method, dispersion time, dispersion ratio, pH. The results showed that:the most suitable method for the dispersion is milling dispersion, and the dispersion time should be24h. To obtain the best stability of the pulp slurry system was33wt%ethanol percentage of the total and solvent pH7alkaline. With the above-mentioned dispersion method and process parameters we can have a solid content of about20%of the stability of the slurry, the slurry thirty days no settlement.A transparent thermal insulation coating was prepared by the dispersed Nano ATO slurry and water-based PU. I have already studied the Nano ATO slurry and water-based PU volume ratio, coating thickness on the light transmission, thermal insulation, Shading Coefficient, and optical coatings, thermal insulation effect of the test. By scanning electron microscopy analysis showed that the nano-powder is evenly distributed in the smear. The results showed that:Nano transparent insulating coating has excellent spectral selectivity. When the same coating thickness case, the percent of the nano-ato slurry is bigger, the insulating effect and shadowing are greater, but the visible light transmittance is decreased. The insulation effect tests showed that the balance temperature of the coating to the blank sample is up to17℃. Nano ATO/water-based transparent insulation coatings has good insulation, high visible light transmittance. Nano-ATO/water-based PU transparent insulating coating has a low cost, simple fabrication process, construction, and has good market prospects and the high value of promotion.
