This Due to the layered structure formed by a large number of parallel laminated scales, the "labyrinth effect" produced by this structure greatly prolongs the heat flow transmission path and can delay the heat conduction. Can be used as a filler to be added into a heat insulation material to play a role in heat preservation and heat insulation. In this paper, the high temperature furnace charge was prepared by mixing the high temperature furnace charge as the main material and the fly ash flake as the filling material by mechanical stirring. The micro-morphology and chemical composition of fly ash flake were studied, and the heat insulation performance of high temperature furnace charge was compared under different contents of fly ash flake, and the best ratio was found. The results show that the fly ash flake is flaky structure, light weight and water absorption. After being mixed with the high temperature furnace charge, the coating is in a parallel layered structure, which can increase the heat insulation capacity of the high temperature furnace charge. The density and thermal conductivity of high temperature burden decrease with the increase of fly ash flake content. When the fly ash flake content reaches 15%,the density of high temperature burden is 0.641 G/cm3,and the thermal conductivity is 0.084 W/(m ยท K)at 500 โ„ƒ.When the thickness of the coating is constant and the content of fly ash flakes reaches 15%,the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the coating reaches the maximum. When the temperature in the coating is 400 โ„ƒ,the temperature outside of the coating is 152 โ„ƒ.It can be seen that the "labyrinth effect" produced by the layered structure formed by the layered arrangement of fly ash flakes in the coating has the same delaying effect on heat conduction. This paper provides a new possibility for the application of scale materials outside the field of anticorrosion, and provides a theoretical basis for future research.
