Currently, as the increasingly tense of energy, environmental pollution has been worse and worse, energy conservation has become a focus of the world, the development of environmental-friendly and green energy has become a focus of national research, the recycle and utilization of waste heat resource has been put increasingly emphasis. The coal industry is an energy-hungry one, but also with serious pollution. It can be seen that the annual coal consumption and environmental pollution is great since the energy of traditional winter heating of the administration building, welfare building and coal preparation plant, hot water for bath through out the year and the antifreeze of the borehole are provided by traditional heat boilers. So, how to reduce the energy consumption of the coal mining enterprises is of great significance to global energy saving. There is a large amount of waste heat while energy consumption, a very important one is air return in the mine. The ventilation of underground coal mining is generally exhaust ventilation during the process of coal production. Since the vertical depth of the borehole and the length of the ventilation line are relatively large, a lot of heat is produced by the underground rock and electrical and mechanical equipment. As a consequence, the return air temperature is relatively high, generally above13~30℃, and the humidity is relatively large, generally more than90%. Under normal circumstances, the return air temperature and humidity throughout the year remain constant, which bears a large number of low-temperature heat. This article use the heat pump technology combined with the mine return air heat extraction authoritarian, the conversion of the mine return air from low taste to higher with a small amount of electrical energy can be achieved, thus to satisfy the need of energy for the ground building heating, hot water for bath and the borehole antifreeze, replace the traditional boiler room, save the consumption of coal and reduce environmental pollution. In general, recycling mine return air heat combined with heat pump technology has a wide range of prospects.In the entire mine return air source heat pump system, the device of the return air heat extraction and the heat conversion of the water source heat pump are the directly influences to the operating result of the entire system. This article focuses on the coal water source heat pump units and mine return air heat extraction device-high return air heat exchanger, which is special for mining enterprises. It deals with the four components of the water source heat pump, which means condenser, evaporator, compressor and throttling device, concluding the designing calculation, equipment selection, tests of the developed sample, analyses of the factors that affect the heat transfer of the mine return air heat exchanger and the theoretical calculations according to the parameters. There is an engineering example for reference then.The third mining station of Mountain Pingding has been taken as an engineering example in this article. Tests have been made to the mine return air source pump system and the changing data of hot and cold water inlet and outlet in winter and summer in the calendar year have been recorded. Calculate the extraction of heat according to the tests of the heat exchanger and the records, concluding the inlet and outlet air temperature and the inside and outside circulating water temperature after heat exchange. Verify the correctness of the developed mine return air source heat pump system by comparing to the theoretical calculation. The economic analysis of the engineering example has been made at last.In a word, the combination system of recycling mine return air heat and the heat pump technology is obviously better than refrigeration units+boiler room system.
