With global warming and the greenhouse effect is to strengthen, the quantitative research of carbon emission become a hot topic, and the quantitative study on carbon emissions is the premise to evaluate the effect of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In this paper takes the sugar industry waste biomass biogas power generation projects as the object of research and deeply searches into the practical application of the calculation method for carbon emissions.Firstly, starting from the current situation of global wanning, a systematic introduction to the domestic and international greenhouse gas reduction strategies, and then comparative analysis of the treatment technology of organic solid waste biomass on the advantages and disadvantages, derived anaerobic digestion and composting is the best use of the treatment of organic wastewater and organic waste biomass.Secondly, the CDM methodological concepts, components, key elements, and carbon emissions calculation tools are analyzed and introduced in the paper. From methodological perspective, has approved project of our country, only about15times the mass methodology used more than10times, most large-scale methodology didn’t get the actual application. Finally, In the article takes a representative project of power generation with methane of sugar refinery waste biomass for example, chooses suitable this project CDM methodologies ACM0006, AM0039and calculation tool, to calculate the carbon emissions from the project. The results show that project baseline emissions as a year increases with the increased year by year, the project emission is974CO2e/a. the leak emissions is0. the annual average emission reductions is62.839tCO2e.Thus, waste biomass recovery of the sugar refinery brings economic benefits and social benefits of CO2emissionsThe calculation method adopted in this study not only estimates the carbon emission of power generation with methane of sugar industry waste biomass field, but also provides an application case for china to carry out large-scale biogas power generation project of sugar industry waste biomass.and provides help for the development of CDM in China.
