Industrial fixture is the inevitable product of industrial manufacture, which is a deviceused for the object to fixing, and make it in the correct position to accepting themachining or detection; fixture also play an important role in achieving automaticproduction and promoting industrial production. Fixture can ensure product quality andincrease the rate of production and level of automation. It has great significance forreducing labor intensity, expanding the scope of use of machine tools, shortening cyclesof production, etc. therefore, designing self-adaptive flexible fixture of imitation fingershas great theoretical and realistic means.The mainly content of this design research are shown below:①The paper introduced the development history of the fixture, research status anddevelopment trends as well as social and economic value. And given a detailed analysisof the implementing agencies and their control methods, not only a design method isintroduced, but also a simulation analysis has been finished.②The paper posed a self-adaptive flexible fixture of imitation fingers for machining.This fixture is flexible institution, improve the over degree of freedom, and can be betterto complete a series of complex movements. In order to reduce the times of installationof the spare (process), a fixture of the structure of the multi-faceted processing wasdesigned and3D model was established.③In order to avoid the dead place or poor movement of its fingers in the productionprocess, its movement have been analyzed and validated by using kinetic theory beforecarrying out the overall structural design. And a dynamic analysis had been finished byusing the software of multi-body dynamics after its3D model was established.④The paper posed a theory and method of the multi-field simulation research ofself-adaptive flexible fixture of imitation fingers. A simulation analysis ofelectro-hydraulic system has been finished for the arm and lower arm of self-adaptiveflexible fixture of imitation fingers by using AMESim. And the simulation results showthat, when PID controller was equipped for system. the hydraulic shock of the systemwas abated, the response speed of the system was improved, the control accuracy of thelifting system of the lower arm and the hydraulic cylinder of the fixture’s elongationwas improved, and meet the design requirement.⑤Control circuit and software program have been designed for self-adaptive flexible fixture of imitation fingers. In order to make it can overcome a variety ofcomplex environmental impact and still meet the required accuracy, the design of thedriving principle and control method is different from the traditional design of fixture,you must to be innovative.
