With the importance of economic development and the environment,application of naturalgas have been widely.Advantages of natural gas quality clean has been widely praised. Naturalgas is widely used in civil gas, oil, automobile, machine-building industries fuel, furtherdevelopment of a natural gas pipeline business.Monitoring control system and data acquisition system,which is also called supervisorycontrol and data acquisition system has become facilities of the piping systems management andthe stadardiation of control with the core of industrial computer. Because of the real-time reliabledata acquisition and the ability of remote control, SCADA system can combine the real-timemonitoring with the information system in the productive process. It achieves the goals of lowcost and high efficiency with the automatic fast statistic analysis and optimized operation.Gas technology although a late development in china,but more rapid development,shajinggas pipeline in the past few years,West-East gas pipeline and other important long distancenatural gas pipeline, to use domestic and foreign joint, designed with a high level of SCADAsystem, laying a foundation for national gas pipeline in this area.In the modern design of gas transmission pipeline in the SCADA system is essential, havebecome a standardization of piping systems to manage and control facilities. On the basicfunctions of the system architecture, and design to study, completing the process of datacollection, monitoring and control of pipeline transportation, scheduling tasks.
