As the most effective, most economic and applied widely metal anti-corrosionmethods, research of paint coating has a great significance. Organic silicone modifiedwaterborne epoxy resin as anti-corrosion coating film has good adhesion, weatherresistance. And the glass flake has good anti-corrosion and resistance to permeability.So both of them have already became hot spot for anti-corrosion coatings research.Through evaluation of the emulsion stability and film resistance to chemicals formaking sure the organic silicone modified waterborne epoxy emulsion preparationoptimized conditions. The optimum condition is follows: the percentage of organicsilicone is13.22%,the epoxy is47.93%,the styrene is22.32%,the acrylate is16.53%.The appropritate rate of OP-10and SLS is2/1, the right amount of emulsifier is0.7%,the NaHCO3is0.17%, the grease-water proportion is1/2, the initiator is0.22%, thepolymerization temperature is80℃, the polymerization time is3h. The preparation ofemulsion properties and film performance all accord with GB/T20623-2006, IRanalysis shows that the film is organic silicon, acrylic monomers and epoxy which hashappen free radicals grafting polymerization reaction, Vinyl silane has access to theepoxy molecular skeleton, DTG-DTA shows that the organic silicone modified epoxyresin has began lose weigh at300℃, the film has good thermal stability below300℃.The influences of anti-corrosion coating performance are organic silicon modifiedepoxy resin, glass flake particle size and anticorrosion pigment,and have optimized theprocess conditions, the result indicates that the organic silicone modified epoxydispersion as the film former which is45%, the glass flake is80mesh and the amount is35%, the TiO2is18%; The anti-corrosion coating has a good anti-corrosive propertywhen the pigments and fillers grinding time is2h, the grinding time is30min, the filmthickness is0.25mm. The comprehensive test results show that the coatings’ physicaland chemical indexes reach JG/T224-2007requirements.DTG-DTA shows that theanti-corrosion coating has began accelerate lose weigh at260℃, and the weightlessness rate is only27.44%when the temperature reach to700℃, the coating has good thermalstability. The EIS of the coating shows that impedance values have five orders ofmagnitude, the coating has a good anti-corrosive property.The water-epoxy anti-corrosion coating has safe environmental protection, zeroVOC, environmentally sound characteristic, and also has excellent anti-corrosionproperties, and other indexes meet national standards.
