The synthesis of resin and the preparation of coating were studied in this paper. Thesynthesis process of the resin is as follows: the synthesis of organic silicone prepolymer, thedifferent relative molecular weight epoxy resin and epoxy-organosilicone copolymer.⑴ A series of silicone oligomer were synthesized by using methyltriethoxysilane ,dimethyldiethoxysilane and phenyltriethoxysilane as materials, and hydrochloric acid ascatalyst. The structure and properties were characterized and tested respectively. It is shownthat the optimum ratio of R/Si and Ph/R for prepolymer is 1.4 and 0.6 respectively. Theamount of catalyst is 0.6% of that of monomer, and the water is only 80% of that forcompletely hydrolyzation. The optimum stirring speed is 140 rpm. The optimumprepolymerization time is 4 h.⑵ E-41,E-20, E-33 and E-12 were prepared by using epichlorohydrine and bisphenolA as materials, and sodium hydroxide as catalyst. The structure and properties werecharacterized and tested by IR, the hydrochloric acid-pyridine method, the aceticanhydride-ehioether method as well as the ring and ball method.⑶ Copolymer epoxy-silicone resin was synthesized by using prepolymer oforganicsilica and epoxy resin as materials . Mass ratio of prepolymer of epoxy to organicsilicone resin, species of epoxy resin, different structure of silicone oligomer, dose of catalyticand solvent were choosed as five factors to design orthogonal experiment. The performanceand structure of copolymer epoxy-silicone were tested by infrared spectrum, 13C NMR andTGA.⑷ Heating-resistant coating of epoxy-silicone resin was prepared by choosingheat-resistant pigment, controlling dosage and electing best solidifies technics, thenheating-resistant, flexibility, loss weight at 1000℃, adhesion, heat-humidity-resistant andsolid content of the coating were tested. As a result , the kind of epoxy-silicone coating is ofhighly heating-resistant property, and maximum temperature can be reached 900℃.
