The static rigidity of NC machine tool structure has great influence on the machine tool processing precision and the processing surface roughness, numerical control machine tool structure static stiffness shortage will greatly limit machine tool cutting dosage, affect the efficiency and performance of the play. Through the static stiffness experiment of machine tool, we can obtain the real data of static stiffness of machine tool and the deformation of the machine tool, it also can provide the evidence for us improving the static stiffness of machine tool.In this paper, we have a test on the static stiffness of light, small-sized machining center GQ1070, measure the static stiffness of machine tool system and the deformation of machine tool parts, the experiment data is analyzed to find out the weak link which affect the machine static stiffness and put forward some improvement advice. The main work and achievement is as follows:1. Introduce the deformation process and the method of measurement of the machine tool in the static load, define the static stiffness respectively under the three coordinate direction load of the three coordinates in the3d coordinate system, design the static stiffness test plan of light, small-sized machining center GQ1070and the key points of machine components arrangement and deformation measurement scheme.2.Have a experiment of static stiffness on the light, small-sized gantry machining center GQ1070,get the static stiffness data of machine tool system to measure deformation displacement of each key point which affects the static stiffness of machine tool.3. Get the representation method of the deformation of machine components measured, have description and analysis on the deformation measurement data of every key point of light, small-sized machining center GQ1070, research on the deformation of machine tool in the static load and the influence of the total deformation, find out weak parts which affect the machine static stiffness.4. Have a further analysis on the machine weak parts, find out the weak link and put forward the improvement suggestion.
