NC rotary table was the main functional part of the horizontalprocessing center,its performance directly affects the machine’s overallperformance.The NC rotary table which has switching capabilities andowns a φ630mm working platform was designed in this paper,largeresearch work has been done on the key technologies such as the staticfeatures of the rotary table’s servo drive components and other keycomponents and also the static character istics of the turntable bearing.Trough switching between platforms,this rotary table can improvethe processing efficiency.The processing accuracy was improved by usingworm helical gear.The structure design and servo drive design processwere introduced in detail.Through computing and analyzing the finiteelement data,more reasonable parameters were selected and the3Dimages and2D engineering images of the rotary table components weredesigned.According to the static dynamics principles,the simulationmodel of the worm helical gear mesh was established,the3D mappingsoftware was used to create the worm helical gear mesh model and staticdynamics analysis work was done to the meshing process by using AnsysWorkbench simulation software.The results were compared with theresults of worm gearing to testify the correctness of the simulation model.The3D model of the turntable bearing was established,finiteelement static dynamics analysis and fatigue analysis were done to thebearing rollers inner ring outer ring,as a result the key parts of theinvalid bearing was gotten and its reason and resolution methods werealso achieved.Through comparing and analyzing the two common-usedturntable bearing, the reasons of adopting YRTM bearing were gotten.
