Effects of a series of alkanol、ester、ether additives on the phase stability of M15、M30、M50、M65and M85methanol–straight-run gasoline blends were studied in the temperaturerange from-37.0to40.0℃by testing phase separate temperature of these blends andanalyzing linear regression equation of curves of additives’ dosage–phase separatetemperature. The results show that most of additives are effective on the phase stability of allmethanol–straight-run blends in the temperature range from-37.0to40.0℃except M15、M30blends with ethanol and water and M15、M30、M50、M65blends with diphenyl etherand water; influence of a series of alkanol、ester、ether additives on the phase stability ofmethanol–straight-run gasoline blends have some rules:it is decided by characteristic ofadditives (such as species、chain length and isomerizate etc.)、methyl alcohol content、watercontent and so on.All the additives are oxygen carrier which is effective on detergence of metha-nol–straight-run gasoline blends. So effects of a series of additives on detergence ofmethanol–straight-run gasoline blends were studied indirectly by testing gum cont-ent ofblends. The results show that additives are all effective on detergence of meth-anol–straight-run gasoline blends; The gum content of reciprocity of additives and methylalcohol is more than pore straight-run gasoline and M0、M100blends with additives; Effectsof n-butanol is the most and than in turn is isopropanol、n-hexyl alcohol、n-decanol、n-heptanol、isoamylol、n-amyl alcohol in methanol–straight-run gasoline–alkanol blends;Gum content is higher with more dosage and lengthier chain length of acetic ester additivesin methanol–straight-run gasoline–ester blends; Gum content of blends with ethylene glycolmonobutyl ether、tetrahydrofuran or1,4-dioxane is higher and gum content is higher with more dosage of aether in meth-anol–straight-run gasoline–ether blends.
