Cyclotrimethylene trinitramine(RDX) is an important powerful explosive.RDX is obtained widely application in many fields,and people have been paying much attention on synthesis technology.The yield of RDX is lower,it influence the application and development in some fields.In the paper,TRAT was synthesized from acetonitrile and trioxymethylene,and TRAT then nitrated to RDX. The optimal reaction conditions were confirmed:(1) Reaction temperature75℃, reaction time3h,the molar ratio of acetonitrile and trioxymethylene5:1, the molar ratio of H2SO4and trioxymethylene1:7.5, the yield of TRAT was up to94%;(2) N2O5/CH3CN as nitrating agent, reaction temperature55℃, reaction time70min, the molar ratio of N2O5and TRAT5:1, the yield of RDX was up to70%;(3) N2O5/HNO3as nitrating agent, reaction temperature45℃, reaction time60min,the molar ratio of N2O5and TRAT7:1, the molar ratio of HNO3and N2O57:1, the yield of RDX was up to87%.RDX was prepared via nitrolysis of hexamethylenetramine(HA) by N2O5/HNO3, the optimal conditions are as follows:Reaction temperature0℃, reaction time60min,the mass ratio of N2O5and HA7:1, the mass ratio of HNO3and HA10:1, the yield of RDX was up to82.3%.The nitrate liquid of the direct method was treated for the first time by oxidizing and then vacuum crystallizing.Experiment results show that:by controlling conditions, the RDX granularity can be controlled and the amount of waste acid was reduced.
