As a new technology of digital design and manufacturing field, simulation technology isapplied widely. The study on the technology has been very popular all over the world.The accuracy mathematical model is a basics insuring the results corresponding betweencomputer simulation and practical situation. Certainly, the collision detection problem in theprocess of simulation should be taken into account.The thesis studies auto die stamping simulation and other relative issues deeply. Thebasics of cold stamping auto die have been introduced. Specially, based on typical automotivemold structure, we analyse its mould structure and motion mechanism, and summarize theclassification of typical motion structure.Based on the analysis and study of automobile stamping die structure, we researchfriction model, motion model, mechanical model, the geometric model. Otherwise, we dosome research about the reset model of nitrogen spring and blanking model in blankingprocess. Innovatively, an arithmetic of collision detection is analyzed and summarize.Through the research of this issue, we propose different kinds of models about automould stamping simulation and summarize the arithmetic of collision detection in the processof stamping simulation. All of these studies provide theoretical support for theimplementations of auto die stamping motion simulation software.
