Limestone wet flue gas desulfurization technology is not only the most mature technology in the field of gas desulfurization but also it have the largest market share. In the process of wet flue gas desulfurization system, the absorber slurry pH value is not only related to the system’s desulfurization efficiency, the efficient use of desulfurization resources will also be affected. The slurry pH value size is mainly affected by the influence of the concentration of limestone slurry, the flow rate of slurry and flue gas, the sulfur concentration and other factors, however, the flow size of original flue gas is closely related to the boiler load which is unpredictable, and thus the size of the flue gas volume is an uncontrollable factor which will undoubtedly bring more difficult to the slurry pH value control.In view of the importance degree of slurry pH value control to the entire gas desulfurization system, the classic control technology even more advanced control strategies have been used in the control of slurry pH value, but there are many confounding factors at the scene of the desulfurization, so the system control effective is not perfect under this circumstance, it unable to continue to maintain a good dynamic and steady-state performance.Active Disturbance Rejection Control technology absorbed the essence "based on error to eliminate error" of classic PID and make appropriate improvements aim to deficiencies of classical PID, in particular, it has the ability of estimation and compensation of disturbances, which is the essential difference between ADRC and other controllers in the anti-interference ability, but also reflects its superiority essence.Based on the advantage of Active Disturbance Rejection Controller in the anti-interference ability, it have been taken as a strategy in the control of FGD slurry pH value. By using MATLAB to establish a simulation model with Simulink and make performance analysis and comparison for the control effect.
