Oil is an important role for the development national economy and national production. But the energy consumption costs is a large proportion of oil exploiting, and there is a proverb "power-for-oil". In the oil field, beam oil-pumping unit is widely used in oil fields and is one of the high energy-consumption equipment, which electric power consumption accounts for about30%. Therefore, it is important for oil-pumping unit improving exploitation efficiency, decreasing production costs.For improving exploitation efficiency, decreasing production costs, there are mainly two aspects t for energy saving. On one side, the mechanical structure of oil-pumping units could be altered for energy saving, while oil-pumping unit is so complex that the altering costs will be not economic, and the cycle will be long. On another side, through altering the mechanical characteristics of motors, or motor efficiency can also be improving exploitation efficiency, decreasing production costs. However, they do not effectively utilize the energy-feedback within the power generation state.For the energy-feedback, this paper analysis the basic working principle of pumping units and the load characteristics. As the load characteristics is periodical and dramatically alterative load, sometime there will be a problem of energy-feedback at least once periodically. At the third chapter, several normal handling of energy saving methods for feed-back energy has been introduced, then explained and compared the characteristics of various energy saving measures and. Especially, this paper designs the energy-feedback control system for pumping unit within downstroke.In order to achieve better control effect, this paper designs the viable universe fuzzy controller which based on viable universe fuzzy theory. Control system simulation model have been built by MATLAB/SIMULINK software. As the result of experimentation shows, this method has excellent control effect.What’s more, both software and hardware had been designed. For the hardware, design the control system structure in term of technics requirement. And for the software, this paper designs workflow and control system interfaces, which can monitor control system’s work data from screen.
