In the crude oil exploitation process, "empty pumping" of the pumping unit is a common phenomenon. "Empty pumping" results in a waste of energy, severely reducing the life span of rod pumping unit and increasing the oil the incidence of rod breakage. Therefore, how to carry out effective control of the pumping units is an urgent need to solve problem.At present, it finds that the term "intermittent pumping" mode control and the variable frequency control technology are mainly used at home and abroad. The basic flow law of oil well is ananlyzed, at the same time because of the complexity of reservoir permeability, pumping is adopted fuzzy control algorithm in real-time control in this thesis. Commonly used single-input single-output and dual-input single-output fuzzy controllers are separately designed.By simulation of the wells pumping conditions, FPGA-based measurement and control system hardware circuit is designed and completed. Firstly, the logic control method is designed under the Quartus II. Through the simulation, the logic design is proved to be correct. Furthermore, the entire system is designed using SOPC technology based on FPGA. Finally, the software programming is completed in the Nios II. Thus, the intelligent control of oil well pumping is achieved. Digital circuit is implemented in the FPGA. In this way the logic circuit design is greatly simplified, hardware circuit structure is simple, the reliability and integration of the measuring and control circuit is improved.After the system design and debugging being completed, the designed system is conducted by a simulate experiment. The control system which was studied in this thesis is feasibility by the simulation test, and has a wide application prospect.
