The quality of machinery and mechanical parts is determined by the level of mechanical manufacturing process, the methods of form and position errors detection and evaluation are an important part to ensure the quality of products and components. When judging whether the quality of a finished product can reach the design requirement, test and evaluation form and position errors are essential processes. Since the form and position errors of parts have a great influence on the quality of mechanical products, so accurately measured and assessed the form and position errors of parts becomes very important, domestic and foreign researchers are also concerned about this issue.In this paper, it first proposed the unified mathematical description of form and position errors which is made according to the common and individual characteristics of form and position errors, it is hoped that through a one-time measurement, a one-time data processing and data processing software to solve a wide range of form and position errors; then it design the data acquisition measurement system of form and position errors which is made according to SCM.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) The methods of form and position errors detection and evaluation are researched. It is found that the requirements on the different measurements of measured part’s form and position errors, often for the same measured elements, and different data processing form and position errors also have similar or even the same method.(2) Measured element relative to fitting element change in volume is form and position errors. Different form and position errors projects usually have the same fitting element. In this paper, unified mathematical description of form and position errors is proposed, It is hoped that through a one-time measurement to solve many problems of form and position errors.(3) Consider the needs of field environment and issues, it uses universal active filter UAF42to build bandpass filter circuit of data acquisition system. (4) It uses CYGNAL microcontroller and other components to achieve the data acquisition hardware system of form and position errors. In Silabs integrated development environment, it uses assembly language for system software design.(5) Using CYGNAL provided C8051F0XX series MCU development kit, signal generator and potentiometer analog debug circuit boards.
