As countries to speed up the process of industrialization, the demand for energy increasesday by day. There will be more and more coal mines carrying on deep mining in China. With thesoft rock strata in China coal mine widely distributed, in the role of high stress, these mineroadways are very difficult to develop and maintain. The roadway support which is affected bymany kinds of factors in soft rock. The study proper supporting technique in deep-seated highstressed soft rock roadway is very important and meaningful to the mine safety production.Deep soft rock roadway has characteristics such as high ground pressure, large deformationand hard supporting, according to the principle of soft rock engineering supporting, Thisdissertation is focused on the status of serious destroy of the soft rock roadway in HaMaShanMine, the process about failure and deformation on surrounding rock of roadway in soft stratumis studied in this paper. based on the theoretical analysis and the results from the FEM analysis,the weaker surrounding rock range of roadway is studied from the plastic area and the stress anddisplacement of surrounding rock. We confirmed reasonable support parameters for repairing theroadway.In the process of designing support and weaker surrounding rock support, the design ofbolting-steel mesh-shotcreting support and arched cross-section in soft rock roadway arediscussed. The paper offers a reference for the soft rock tunnel supporting engineering.
