The single-layer filter paper still in the dominant state,but with the market increasinglyhigh requirements of the life and the efficiency of the filter paper,the single-layer filter paperunable to meet the market demand, so recently, more and more filter paper manufacturersover the world turn their heads to the multi-layer filter paper, and there are more and moreresearches about the subject.However,these researches are still on the primary stage,for example,theresearch of the basis weight and the fiber matials.This paper is focusing on the three-layercomposite filter paper, we hope through the preparation and properties research of three-layercomposite filter paper to provide the basic for the further studying of the three-layer filtrationproducts industrialization.This paper at first provide a laboratory preparation method of three-layer composite filterpaper; Then study the physical properties of the composite filter paper, in particular, study theaverage pore diameter of the composite filter; At last, we study the effect to the filtrationperformance through chage the resistance ratio of the three-layer. The research content andimportant results are as follows:First, the research of the laboratory preparation methods of three-layer composite filterpaper.the study shows that observed by Scanning electron microscopy and microscope,thereare obvious structural differences between different laboratory preparation methods,especially the difference of the interface layers. Only when there are hydrogen bondingbetween the fibers forming in different layers, the interface layer will eliminate maximum. Atthis case,The measured physical properties and the filtration performance of the compositefilter paper will be possible to accurately.Second, the research of the effect to the physical properties of the composite filter paper.The results further validate the accuracy of permeability theoretical formula of the compositefilter paper: T.And shows the pore size of the composite filter papernis close to the minimum pore size layer.At the same flow rate under the mean flow pore sizeof the three-layer composite filter paper,from the value K,we can know the optimization levelof the composite filter paper.Thirdly, the research of the effect to the filtration performance through chage theresistance ratio of the three-layer.the study shows that different resistance ratio of thethree-layer will bring huge different filtration performance,especially the difference on thedust hold capacity;As the same primary pressure drop and filter rating,the maximum value is twice minimum value of the dust hold capacity.Under the conditions of this paper, as thequantitative ratio of the three-layer is2:2:1, the resistance ratio is1:2:2,the three-layercomposite filter paper achieves the best filtration performance,the value of the dust holdcapacity is9.0mg/cm2,and the value of the filter rating is14.6μm.
