The fluorine-containing compounds have been widely used in the fields of pharmaceuticals, pesticides and a variety of fine chemicals due to their excellent lipophilic and hydrophobic to increase the biological activity of the drug. And fluorine-containing pesticides have become a hot topic of new pesticide discovery because of their high selectivity, high activity, low-cost and environmentally friendliness. In this dissertation, we introduced hexafluoroisopropanol moiety to modify the commercial pesticide Flubendiamide, in order to get better insecticidal activity. Therefore, we synthesized a series of hexafluoroisopropyl-containing derivatives of flubendiamide which were confirmed by’H NMR、13C NMR、19F NMR and HRMS. And their preliminary biological activities were tested. Besides, we developed a simple and highly efficient approach for the hydrodefluorination of both fluoroarenes and trifluorotoluenes in the presence of lithium triethylborohydride (LiEt3BH).1. Hexafluoroisopropanol moiety attracts much attention in materials chemistry due to its dissolution behavior, anti-swelling property, and high contrast. In the first part, hexafluoroisopropanol as one of the starting materials was introduced to flubendiamide, together with other simple amines, we synthesized fourteen hexafluoroisopropyl-containing derivatives of flubendiamide.2. The activation of carbon-fluorine bonds by transition metal complexes remains a great challenge for the chemical community because the C-F bond is one of the most inert and strong functionalities found in organic molecules. In the second part, we developed a simple and highly efficient method for hydrodefluorination of both fluoroarenes and trifluorotoluenes in the presence of lithium triethylborohydride with NiCl2and NiCl2(PCy3)2as the co-catalysts.
