Quality is the life of the print. Especially in the information age, various types ofelectronic products and online publications have an impact on the print industry, which makingthe quality control becoming an important measures reduce costs, improve the competitiveness.The ultimate goal of the quality control, firstly is to improve the print product quality, thesecondly is to ensure the stability of the product quality. The latter is more important for generalprinting companies. The control of the ink amount is the most direct measure to ensure thestability of the print quality, because the size of the ink amount has a direct impact on the printdensity, image tone, gray balance, dot gain and the relative contrast. At present, people controlthe amount of the ink mostly through the visual or measuring the density (chromatic values) ofthe print on the help of instruments, then adjust the print ink opening by virtue of experience,which often requires several times in order to achieve the standard values, wasting materialsand increasing costs. This paper analysis the relationship between print ink opening and the inkvolume, established the relational model of ink film thickness and ink solid density, establishedthe relational model of ink film thickness and ink chromatic, eventually established therelational model of ink key opening and ink solid density, the relational model of ink keyopening and ink chromatic. The model was validated in the actual print conditions, and hadsome guidance on the print production. The main work of this paper is as follows:1. This paper studied the relationship of the print ink opening and ink film thickness.Throng analysis the principle of print ink transfer and ink control, this paper got the relationshipmodel of the print ink opening and the ink amount. In the case of ink-water balance, paper gotthe relationship model of print ink opening and ink film thickness.2. This paper determined the appropriate paper by testing of different types of paper. Thispaper had ink test of several types of paper with the help of printability tester, then analysis theprintability of different paper, identified the appropriate paper.3. This paper fixed the relationship model of the ink solid density and the ink filmthickness. The author printed color bitches of different ink film thickness with the printabilitytester, got their ink film thickness and solid density values. The author analyzed existing modelof ink film thickness and ink solid density, ament the model with the method of curve fitting,finally, the model was validated.4. This paper established print ink amount closed-loop control model based on the density.By establishing the relationship model between print ink opening and the ink density, the paperestablished a closed-loop control model based on the density of print ink amount.5. This paper established print ink amount closed-loop control model based on the ink chromatic. The author printed color bitches of different ink film thickness with the printabilitytester, got their ink film thickness and solid chromatic values. The author established a model ofthe relationship between the ink chromatic and ink density values based on neural networktechnology, established an ink amount closed-loop control model based on the ink chromatic.6. The paper established ink amount closed-loop control model of the spot color ink ofmap printing. I had an experiment with the spot ink of map printing, then got the relationshipmodel between the ink film thickness and ink density, got the relationship model between theink density and ink chromatic values, finally established an ink amount closed-loop controlmodel of the spot ink.
