| Wetland ecosystem is an ecosystem that has one of the highest service value and most rich ecological diversity in the global ecosystem, and enjoys a high reputation as "the earth’s kidney" and "Species gene pool" It also has strong Hydrologic functions, economic functions and biological functions. It offers various kinds of natural resource for people’s production and life. What’s more, it has great ecological benefits. Wetland ecosystem builds a footstone for human living and social development.Research on wetland ecosystem ecological function has gradually drawn people’s attention and has been a leading edge in the field of wetland investigation. Since1990s, both research and protection on wetland have a Wallace on a new step. And evaluation of wetland ecological service value has been a hot topic. The premise of a scientific research includes investigation on wetlands’present situation, wetland structure and its function. Wetland is a unique ecosystem, which can offer plenty of resources. Without sufficient recognition, people will decide the way to develop wetland according to their own needs, which will be harmful to its ecological functions.LiangZi lake is the second largest lake in Hubei province (storage capacity ranks Nol.) With deep swim, tortuous lakeshore and clear water, is a good habit for many water fowls and a good wintering ground. This article will focus on LiangZi Lake wetland as research object, and will analyses its ecological functions. This paper will also try to use Market Value Approach, shadow project approach, Carbon tax approach to evaluate Liangzi lake’s ecological service value, and the factors that influence it. And at last this paper will put up suggestions according to its present situation, thus to build laws to protect it; to grow more investment; and to make a good planning; to raise the awareness of the citizens living around here. At last it is necessary to build GIS to promote the lasting development of Liangzi Lake. |
