The problems of eutrophication of urban water bodies become increasingly severe and cause much harm, which need to be dealt with quickly. On the point of reducing the nutrient concentration and controlling the algae growth to cure the eutrophication jointly, this research aims to prepare new phosphate absorbing materials and algae killing materials, and some coupled technology to improve water quality of urban water bodies.The conclusions of this study are followings:1Attapulgite is modified by Zinc salts, which has more OH groups of metal hydrates, and more OH groups can carry on ion exchange with phosphate and its capacity of adsorbing phosphorus becomes bigger. The results of IR diagrams mean that in the1540.5cm-1wave-length, Zn-Attapulgite has an obvious OH groups’radicle Cape vibration peak and the OH groups belong to metal hydrates. The process of Zinc salts modifying attapulgite is the surface hydroxylation.2The adsorptive capacity of Zn-Attapulgite for phosphate doesn’t meet Freundlich equation but obeys Langmuir adsorption isotherm, and the equation is1/Qe=0.0337/Ce+0.0223, and the relativity coefficient is0.9996. The maximum theoretical adsorbing capacity achieves42.9mgP/g.3Cement and tetrasilver tetroxide power were mixed to prepare a material carrying tetrasilver tetroxide which can kill and inhibit the microalgae and spirogyra obviously. The research showed that the material can kill many kinds of microalgae. When the dosage of tetrasilver tetroxide ran to3mg/L, it can maintain the concentration of chlorophyll a2.3ug/L. Dosing lmg tetrasilver tetroxide per a gram spirogyra, spirogyra was killed.When the dosage was1mg/L, spirogyra was difficult to grow.4The coupled technology of urban water bodies can improve the quality of water, reducing the concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus and controlling the growth of algae effectively. The study showed that the experimental points in which the fluid exchange was weak, the concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus and chlorophyll a were lower than the corresponding checking points.5In winter, lower water temperature hindered the coupled technology to remove nitrogen and absorbing phosphate. The study performanced that when the water temperature was less than5"C from December to February of the next year, the coupled technology had no effect on adsorbing phosphorus. Besides, when the water temperature was less than10℃from November to February of the next year, the coupled technology cann’t remove nitrogen.The coupled technological device had some advantages, such as good durability, easy to set the reset, less maintenance.having a wide range of application.It can improve the quality of water in urban water bodies, providing a kind of technical method to dealt with the eutrophication.
