Coal mine auxiliary transport is the essential production process to coal mining, mainly be responsible for the transportation task of supply of raw materials and cleaning of coal gangue. As one of underground auxiliary transportation equipment types, rack-rail car is a mine transport vehicles, which runs with the meshing force of rack wheel and rack orbit in the middle of rail on the slope, and the adhesive force of clip orbit wheel and rail on the flat. Because of the drive structure with combination arrangement of clip orbit and rack orbit, the rack-rail car has good adaptability to variable slope haulage roadway, significantly improves the efficiency of mine transport work. Therefore, it has wide application in coal mine auxiliary transportation field.The rack-rail car hydraulic system failure makes the rack car itself does not work, moreover, is likely to take up the carriageway of the transport alleys, which loads other vehicles not to normal operation. However, the failure reason of rack-rail car hydraulic system is relatively complex, and its conventional repair method is:when rack-rail car hydraulic system failure, the passenger staff calls report to dispatching center on the ground, and then the mechanical and electrical technician detect on-site hydraulic fault, determine the specific fault components, and return to maintenance program to dispatching center, and then the fault components are replaced under maintenance by the skilled workers. This kind of repair method is time-consuming, and maintenance plan is not necessarily reasonable because of variable technology level of mechanical and electrical technician. It directly affects the success rate on the implementation of technology solutions. It will greatly improve the success rate of the rack-rail car hydraulic system fault repair, if it is designed that an effective fault diagnosis method to prejudge the hydraulic system failure, which may cause more targeted on-site fault detection for technical personnel.In this paper, it’s established that the robust residual analysis model of the rack-rail car pump-control-motor system, brake system and displacement control system of hydraulic pump based on state observe; it’s carried on the fault simulation analysis of the pump-control-motor system, brake system and control system of hydraulic pump displacement, to verify the effectiveness of the residual analysis model based on the AMESim simulation platform. It’s constructed that the fault diagnosis rules of the pump-control-motor system, which used residual analysis combined with the feature of related signal system failure. While, It’s constructed based on the fault tree method of the pilot system. The study of fault diagnosis method provides theoretical support and reference to the actual development of the rack-rail car hydraulic fault diagnosis system.
