We called it the mine water, such as precipitate water, surface water, ground waterand old mine water which form into the wellbore and roadway during the constructionand production process of mine. When the normal drain ability is destroyed by thewater inflow, it will finally caused flood. This phenomenon is known as the mine flood.Considering the different geological conditions, rock properties and various waterfilling degrees, in any case, it is significant to figure out the safe effects caused by themine water. Therefore, it has to investigate the hydro-geological characteristics of minewater filling to prevent mine floods. In this way, it is convenient to choose reasonablemining methods and economic measures.The Linshui mine is located in Huaying mountain of Sichuan province. In thispaper, we take it for example. Based on the engineering geological conditions andhydro-geological research, we can promote some prophylactico-therapeutic measuresby computing the water inflow of mining area. The main results and recognitions of thispaper are as follows:(1) Coal Mining Areas are in a complete hydro-geological unit and thegroundwater here mainly recharged by precipitate water. Controlled by groundwaterwatershed, precipitation flow along the fissures and cracks between layers to the wings,finally the groundwater discharged in the low-lying valleys cutting in the form ofgroundriver and karst springs.(2) The mine groundwater mainly includes fissure water of carbonate karst,magmatic rock and clastic rock. Among them, the water holding capacity of clasticfissure water is weak or even weaker. Otherwise, Carbonate karst fissure water ismedium or strong, just a little of them is weak or weaker. And water holding capacitymagmatic rock fissure water is extremely weak.(3) Mining excavation do impact the surface water and ground water to someextent. It affected Huangfengcao ditch slightly, but Laolongdong ditch, Sandaoguai ditch and Houshansi ditch evidently. Some springs have dried up, even the flowcapacity of spring partly are less than1to2times the original.(4) The main factors affecting Mine Inflow includes the effects of top and bottomkarst fissures, precipitation, fault, gob area, adjacent mine gob and old kiln andunfavorable geological condition.(5) By using the rainfall infiltration factor method and the Kesi Jia Markovempirical formula for mine water inflow, calculation showed that results of the minewater inflow are reasonable and consistent with recent observations. For the foundationabove, this paper promote some prevention and treatment measures according to thepractical state.
