Study On Flash Flood Disaster Cause Analysis And Countermeasures In Yanshan County

Flood disasters is a kind of natural disaster that caused by continuity heavy rainfall in the mountain areas. And it would take its toll on social economic as well as people’s lives and property. Our country is a mountainous country, with its mountain areas account for 69 percent of China’s total territory. In recent years, flood disasters occurred frequently in mountainous areas and the number of flash floods showed an increasing trend. It bring a increasing losses to local property and even causes casualties, which severely restricted to the sustainable and rapid development of local economy and society.The landform in Yanshan County is complex, with abundant rivers, giving priority to low hills, having a typical characteristic of rising up and down sharply. This article is based on field surveys and data analysis and rational analyzing of physical geography and social economic in Yanshan County. The paper scientifically analysis the characteristics and causes of the flash floods in Yanshan County, as well as the current situation and existing problems in the process of prevention the flood disasters in Yanshan County.Moreover,countermeasures have been proactively explored on the prevention.Taking the small watershed area in tongmuguan, Wuyishan as an example, the author analyzed the characteristics of the storm flood, evaluated the current situation of the flood control in the villages along the river, divided the danger zone as well as calculated the warning indicators.According to the fruit, countermeasures research have been carried out on the prevention of the flood disasters, and put forward major measures such as improving non-structural measures of flood control and accelerating the governance of the torrent ditch to mitigate the loss caused by the flood disasters to the maximum extent. Adhering to the principle of putting people first and insisting on the comprehensive、coordinated and sustainable development and combining with the real situation in Yanshan County, the author proposed the flood disasters prevention system of giving priority to the non-structural measures while supplemented by the engineering measures as well as combine with each other.
