As an important part of the oil field development, production logging can provideimportant data for oil production, and plays an extremely important role in the process of oilexploration. At present, oilfield production profile logging often use outgassing type collectorflow umbrella to conduct actual logging, the measurement results have a considerabledifference with the ground oil results, the fundamental reason is caused by the adverse effectsof gas phase which belongs to downhole oil-gas-water three-phase flow. With the continuousdeepening of the oil field development, oil well gas production is an inevitable phenomenon,oil-water-gas three-phase flow have become increasingly prominent. Existing oilfieldequipment can meet the requirements of the actual measurement in oil wells of oil-wat ertwo-phase flow. But the wells for oil-gas-water three-phase flow, the interpretation model isvery complex, it is difficult to get an accurate measurement results. Therefore, take effectivemeasures to reduce the adverse effect of gas phase, and the play has two phase flow loggingequipment, mature technology, for three-phase fluid profile logging has become an importantresearch subject.This paper designs a spring-type gas liquid separation device that apply to oil gas waterthree phase flow measurement. Carry out simulation test in pure water, pure oil and oil/waterby using simple experimental device. We studied the corresponding rules of the separationdevice fully, verify the feasibility of the spring-type gas-liquid separation apparatus device.Transform the internal structure of current outgassing collector umbrella based on thestructural design and experimental results of the spring-type gas-liquid separation device,designed gas-liquid separation part of the spring-type production profile logging equipment,combination of turbine flow meter and conductivity moisture meter, complete the springproduction profile logging equipment.The experimental results show that the principle design of the spring-type gas-liquidseparation device is feasible. With volume ratio of oil/water decreasing, the sensitivity ofseparation valve is gradually increased, and the separation effect is getting better, separationvalve in pure water has the highest sensitivity, and the separation effect is most preferably.Expand the applicable range of the instrument by reducing the height of the gas-inlet, themost suitable gas-inlet height is3mm. The separating device is suitable for the high aqueousoil wells in rate of volume above90. Thus, the spring-type gas-liquid separating device caneffectively achieve separation of the gas phases and liquid phases, thereby enhancing theoilfield parameters measurement accuracy and recovery ratio.
