Variable-data forming equipment has been widely used in modern industry, The performance of the Variable-data equipment directly affects mechanical properties of the workpiece forming equipment, forming accuracy, the consumption of raw materials, production efficiency. With the purpose of improve the forming precision, Forming theory and variable-data forming equipment was analysis in this paperThe geometric parameter roll that direct contact with mechanical has been studied. In the automatic gauge control (AGC) system, based on the traditional PID controller, a fuzzy immune PID controller is designed. The content of the research and research results are as follows.The variable-data forming phenomenon and the basic rule was discussed.Analysis of the development trend of variable-data forming equipment at home and abroad, The main technological method and forming equipment that in today’s industrial production are introduced.The effect of two key roller parameters, the internal fillet R and the tilting angle φ, on the cross section of the rolling part has been analyzed. Based on the theory of elastic-plasticity finite element method and the Ansys Workbench analysis software, the simulation of the vertical rolling process with different roller parameters has been introduced. From the simulation results, it was known that the variation of the geometrical parameters of the vertical roller has a direct impact on the rolling effect. When the internal fillet increases or the tilting angle decreases, the rolling permeability is improved.Aiming at the automatic gauge control of variable cross-section rolling system, which is a strong non-linear and time-varying system, this paper utilizes the strong robustness of fuzzy algorithm and the immune algorithm designed according to the human immune system. A new fuzzy immune PID control method is proposed. In the fuzzy immune PID controller under the control of AGC system, a good performance is proved by the computer simulation that show the high speed of response, small overshoot, strong anti-interference ability response characteristic.
