With the development of gas manufacturing technology, the gas cylinders with large volume, high pressure, and compound model are needed. All kinds of gas cylinder demand fatigue test device to detect the safety property. For hydrogen storage gas cylinders, the fatigue device needs high pressure device with aqueous medium to complete the test of high parameters of cylindersThe fatigue device for hydrogen storage gas cylinders requires test volume250L, test pressure100MPa, and frequency1.5per minute. Suitable technical route and the general design requirements were put forward. Three aspects needed to be considered, which were equipment technological process, type and ability of hydraulic units and synthetical allocation. The fatigue device for hydrogen storage gas cylinders was developed according to the provisions of parameters.Pressure cycling system included high-pressure plunger pump, hydraulic valve drived by gas, high pressure pipe fittings, high pressure filter and pressure buffer. Integrated fatigue test device main body structure was builded by assembling the hydraulic and pneumatic units reasonably. The formed test device has a rational structure, simple layout, convenient repair, easy to realize measurement and control. Through a lot of tests, results show that, The fatigue device for hydrogen storage gas cylinders, which is the computer measurement and control technology core, can not only offer premium fatigue devices for user and inspection bodies, but also contribute to increase inspection technique and power of test of gas cylinder business, which enhance test level and power of test of domestic gas cylinder.
