The results show that, Xanthan gum and TT-935have no effect on the stability of the gel ink, And the viscosity of the ink increases with the the content of the thickener, Both Xanthan gum and TT-935have certain thixotropy, But when comparing with each other, Xanthan gum has better thickening and thixotropy, Therefore, the content of Xanthan gum was optimized.The effect of various humectant of gel ink on ink viscosity, moisturizing time and thixotropic was reviewed in the paper. The content of the humectant of gel ink was optimized. The best formulation of gel ink is shown in Table1.
