The basic feature of high speed milling is high efficiency, high accuracy and high surface quality. It is widely used in the field of mechanical manufacture such as aviation, space flight aerospace, mold and so on. Higher pressure and temperature in cut region, which have a great influence on comprehensive property of high speed milling cutter. The finite element analysis of physical field could emulate the physical characteristics such as cutting force and cutting heat. It also can obtain feature data of high speed milling which are hard to get by experiment. Informed research mostly used single physical field analysis to solve some specific problems, and neglected the interaction among the physical field. Based on the research results of high speed cutting technology, this text analyzed the high speed milling cutter with finite element method which were interacted in multi-physical field and studied the comprehensive property of high speed milling cutter.Based on the analysis of high speed milling process, we had studied the main influence factor of cutting property of high speed milling cutter, and established the finite element model, proposed the comprehensive property analysis method based on homogeneity design method, and constructed the multiple linear regression model for the rating of merit.By research on the stress field, modal field and thermal field, the system or the method or the essay established the deformation and natural frequency regression model, the results indicate that the rotate speed of milling cutter and the material properties are the main influence factor of deformation and natural frequency, by means of the thermal analysis, acquired the thermal load, receive the influence discipline of the thermal field by rotate speed. Take the high speed milling cutter as the research object which in coupling field of temperature and stress, proposed the sequential coupling analysis flow, established the boundary conditions and load of coupling field, by means of the coupling field analysis, got the distribution rule of the coupling field which interacted by material properties, rotate speed and the unit cutting pressure, supplied the foundations for tool design and performance evaluation.According to the results of the physical field analysis, based on the security standard established the security criterion; based on theory of strength, established the criterion of criticality security rotate speed; based on Penghengwu discrimination, established the security and inherent characteristic criterion; use the fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate the coupling field of high speed milling cutter, and verify the coupling model and judge results by experiment.
